In partnership with volunteers from across the hospitality industry, our third annual Winter Warmth campaign - distributing warm apparel throughout the winter months, to homeless individuals across the UK - has successfully taken place in six cities including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, London, Brighton and Norwich.

The Winter Warmth campaign has seen large groups of dedicated volunteers give up their time to pack and distribute over 1,200 donated bags of warm clothing and essential toiletries, as well as 1,200 thermal flasks - a supply estimated to be worth around £16,000.

Only A Pavement Away’s Winter Warmth campaign helps the charity to increase financial donations and raise greater awareness of the work that it does to help those facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans back into careers in the hospitality sector. Over the past three years, the Only A Pavement Away Winter Warmth campaign has distributed a total of over £179,000 worth of donated warm clothing and toiletries to people experiencing homelessness.

Greg Mangham, Founder of Only A Pavement Away, said: “This year our Winter Warmth Campaign has been bigger than ever, reaching and supporting hundreds of individuals in six cities across the UK.

“It’s been fantastic to see such a wealth of support and generosity on display from our supporters in the Hospitality Industry who have given up their time to support a much-needed cause, to ensure that those experiencing homelessness are kept warm during the cold winter months.”
