Who we are and how to contact us
Our site is owned and operated by Only a Pavement Away ("we", “our”, “us”), a charity registered under charity number 1178082 and regulated by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Our purpose is supporting and placing vulnerable people into jobs within the hospitality industry.
The purpose of our site is strictly for use for lawful purposes when seeking to recruit staff, or when seeking employment. Job seekers and recruiters need to understand that the function of this job board operates as a venue site and does not introduce or recommend candidates seeking work to recruiters.

We disclaim all responsibility for any damages, financial loss of profits or any other consequential contract losses or inability to use the site permissible by law.  Only A Pavement Away do not provide any warranty on any jobs and their content appearing on this site.  We do not provide warranty for advertisement inaccuracy, errors, or general omissions of job content or for any other purpose.  We do not provide warranty or accept responsibility for ensuring advertisements comply with relevant laws and regulations. Only A Pavement Away do not provide any warranty as to the functionality of its site should it become interrupted, restricted or delayed for any reason. Please note that we only provide our site for domestic and private use. You agree not to use our site for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

If defective digital content that we have supplied, damages a device or digital content belonging to you and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. Which country's laws apply to any disputes?
If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Our trade marks are registered
The “Only a Pavement Away” trade mark (with trade mark number UK00003523643) is a UK registered trade mark owned by Greg Mangham. You are not permitted to use the trade mark without our approval, unless it is part of material you are using as permitted under How you may use material on our site above.

Personal Information Collected Via Cookies
Only A Pavement Away may collect the following personal information from users;

  • When you respond through Facebook or Instagram lead adverts

Facebook Tracking Pixel
With your permission our website utilizes the Conversion Tracking Pixel service of Facebook inc. this tool allows us to follow the actions of users after they are redirected to a provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. We are therefore able to record the effectiveness of Facebook adverts for market research purposes. The collected data remains anonymous. This means what we cannot see the personal data of an individual user. However the collected data is saved and processed by Facebook. Facebook is also able to connect the data with your Facebook account and use the data for their own advertising purposes. This is in accordance with Facebook Data Use Policy which you can view online here: www.facebook.com/about/privacy

Facebook Conversion Tracking also allows Facebook and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside Facebook, in addition a cookie will be saved onto your computer for their purposes.
