Bums On Seats, the UK’s largest outsource sales agency for the hospitality industry, has partnered with hospitality charity Only A Pavement Away to raise vital funds for its members.

To coincide with the launch of its brand new, first of its kind, foundation course, M.I.R.A.C.L.E Sale, 5% of every delegate place sold will go to Only A Pavement Away to support ex-offenders, vulnerable veterans and the homeless in getting out of destitution and into jobs within hospitality.

Founder of Only A Pavement Away, Greg Mangham, said about the new charity partner: “We’re absolutely delighted that Amber has chosen our charity as the recipient of donations from the new M.I.R.A.C.L.E Sales course. The last few months have been unprecedently busy for the charity, with hospitality being one of the hardest hit industries following the recent pandemic, so we couldn’t be happier or more grateful for the support”.

The M.I.R.A.C.L.E Sale, which launches Monday 20th July, is a comprehensive industry leading foundation course, written and developed by hospitality and sales expert and Bums On Seats founder Amber Staynings. The course has been designed specifically for entry level Sales and Marketing professionals, as well as front of house Operations. Due to the pandemic, the course is currently being run online, with the view to begin face to face training courses in September.

Delegates on the course, which runs over one full day, will learn how generational differences, human psychology and consumer behaviour, all govern the best approach when building rapport with potential new customers.

Amber has a passion for the work Only A Pavement Away do, and had this to say: “Throughout my life I have always strived to put people first. For me work was always going to be a vocation, a way of reaching my potential and challenging myself. I firmly believe in OAPA and everything this incredible charity (and Greg) stands for. When I first launched Bums on Seats it had always been my intention to get my own ‘bum off a seat’ in order to make a difference. It should never be just about the Company’s bottom line but about others, and thinking about ways our industry can provide opportunities and the means to positively change someone’s life! I am elated and very proud of forming this long term partnership with OAPA. This is only the start…”.
