Time to Make a Difference Conference.
We were delighted to return to the Strand Palace Hotel, London again this year and are very grateful to them and to our Event Sponsors Caterer.com and Zonal and supporters Asahi and Britvic for supporting the event.

This year's annual conference included an update on the charity's new 5 year strategy and how businesses and supporters can support in getting 1000 people into work by 2024 as well as reviewing charity successes to date and looking ahead to the events and campaigns planned for 2023.
Only A Pavement Away’s purpose is to provide pathways out of homelessness and crime into purposeful employment within the hospitality industry. Over the next six years it is estimated that there will be around 1.3million vacancies in the hospitality industry. At the same time, the number of people who are facing or are at risk of becoming homeless, is rising with an estimated 66,000 more people experiencing homelessness.
We were thrilled to be joined by over 170 delegates from employer and charity partners, sponsors, supporters and guests from across hospitality.
To date we have placed 300 candidates back into work saving the local & central government an estimated c.£5million through reduced government support, financial independence, and household expenditure. We are now averaging between 3-4 Members a week getting an career opportunity. Average LOS is 38 weeks. Retention level 42%.
